Party Success: Have a Bar Stocked with Plenty of Drinks
When you’re involved with party planning, there are always many things that you have to think about: everything from the guest list to the party supplies and easy ways to entertain your guests.
Luckily, the Celebrations team has a great way to make your parties popular. We recommend you have a fully stocked bar filled with drinks. Whether it’s a holiday party for friends or a wedding reception, an open bar and drinks will brighten any event.
Plenty of Alcohol and Drinks
Of course, we are not suggesting that your guests should be drunk at your fabulous event; but, every party needs a few good drinks as they are easy to prepare at bulk for your guests.
Cocktails Encourage Mingling
- Ask your guests beforehand to determine what cocktails and drinks they enjoy.
- Stock a wide variety of alcohol at the bar so that everyone can easily mix their favorite drink.
- For ease, pre-mix a few crowd favorites and keep them in labeled pitchers for self-serving purposes.
- When a guest arrives, greet them by handing them their drink of choice. Your friends will automatically feel at ease with a drink in hand. The drink will inevitably make them feel comfortable and keep everyone entertained.
Bar Setup
- A popular options these days is to create a self-serve bar area spread out on a table. This way, guests can make their own drinks, and ultimately put less pressure on you.
- So, when guests arrive, you can invite your friends to the bar and make them make their own drinks. This way, you don’t have to worry about running back and forth refilling glasses all night.
